New art painting.

Another work in progress.  My paint is being absorbed into the hardboad and I’m struggling to blend the skin.

A digital painting practice, done with a mouse.  I was going for atmosphere more than detail. 

It’s about time I plugged my scanner in.  12”x12” acrylic on canvas

WIP 3 - I worked a little more on the drawing.  It’s a bit messy right now.

This is my first painting on hardboard. I did a simple landscape to test out the surface. It was quite different than canvas in that it seemed to soak up the paint rather than move around on the surface.  12”x12” acrylic

I’m giving my strained eyes a break from the pencil drawing by painting a new portrait.  

I haven’t done a pencil portrait in awhile so I thought I would try my hand at one so I don’t get rusty.  Here is my current work in progress.

New artwork.  Digital painting of a snowman.

Handmade cupcake stickers.  I’m in the process of making other kinds.

New digital artwork of scrumptious strawberry shortcake.  I make these with a basic scone recipe and add some marinated strawberries and whipped cream! It’s not only one of my favorite desserts, but I love Strawberry Shortcake the character.  I still have my bed sheets of Strawberry Shortcake from when I was a child.
